Dear Guests,

We would like to inform you that the City of Calgary has scheduled a mandatory power outage affecting our entire block on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, from 4:00 AM to 7:00 AM. While we anticipate minimal disruption during this time, we want to ensure you’re fully informed of the following:

What You Need to Know During the Outage:

• Lighting & Elevators: Emergency lights will illuminate hallways, stairwells, and the underground parkade. One guest elevator and the parkade elevator will remain operational.
• Guestroom Impacts: There will be no power, water, or heat in guestrooms. Please charge your cellphones in advance for use as a flashlight or alarm. If you require a wake-up call, our staff can knock on your door.
• Contacting Us: While hotel phone lines will be down, we can still be reached via an emergency radio at 403-266-4611. If the line is busy, please try again after a few minutes or visit the front desk for assistance.
• Heating Tips: To prepare for the temporary loss of heat, we recommend setting your thermostat a couple of degrees higher the evening before. Thankfully, the forecast calls for mild overnight weather, so we do not anticipate significant temperature changes.
• Poolside Access: Poolside will reopen once power is restored.
• Coffee Service: Complimentary coffee will be available in the lobby throughout the outage.
• Yellow Door Bistro: Breakfast service will start later than usual at 8:00 AM, and pre-orders can only be accommodated for 8:00 AM or later.

We understand this is not an ideal scenario at any time and sincerely apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may pose to your stay. This is a situation that is entirely beyond our control, and we offer our assurances that we are doing everything in our power to ensure our full operations are restored as quickly as possible.
