Hotel Arts has 12,000 sq. ft. of on-site event space in addition to our on-site restaurants Yellow Door Bistro and Freestyle Social Club. Our Spectrum Ballroom can be subdivided into five smaller spaces.
We can also cater for up to 2,000 guests at your preferred venue in Calgary.

The hotel location is gold! Your front desk was also super helpful making a reservation for our group to a local spot – very much service oriented. Both Vikortiia and Scott made my life easy, you were both very responsive from the start. Scott also offered up some local restaurant options and local entertainment options (hockey) in case we were considering after work hours fun. Nice to have someone anticipate our needs and offer suggestions. The audio-visual portion of the day went off without a hitch and your rooms were perfect, not a thing to fuss over. Julievic was looking after us in our room was such a delight, what a gem of person she was. We all appreciated her gentle and kind nature. She took great care of us.
I had the pleasure of working with Kimberly, Jim and the rest of the events team for a recent wedding that we planned at Hotel Arts, and I can’t say enough about our experience at the venue. During the initial planning stages to the day-of-execution – everything was exceptional. Kimberly was so attentive throughout the entire process – emails were always responded to in a timely manner, everything was well organized, and her level of genuine care for ensuring the couples wedding day was going to be the best day of their lives was second to none. During set-up, we also had the pleasure of working with Jim who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Truly such a wonderful and caring team of individuals that are part of the events team at Hotel Arts. I’m looking forward to many more weddings at this venue, and with this team! Thank you Kimberly, Jim and the rest of the team for an outstanding service.
Hotel Arts catered our wedding and we got to stay there for two nights as well. Their off-site catering is phenomenal. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was. Some even said it was the best meal they’ve ever had! Kimberly and Jim really took care of us throughout the planning process and on the day of. They were both wonderful to work with! The room we got was very nice as well and worked great for getting ready photos of the guys. I highly recommend Hotel Arts if you’re looking for a caterer.
Our group hosted an international meeting and a chefs’ competition in Calgary, and our official hotel was Hotel Arts. It was extremely complex and the attendance was 245 people. All major events including the black-tie 10 course dinner with beverage pairing, were held at Hotel Arts. There was never a challenge unaccepted, never a time when anyone said no. It was always “let’s look at that” or “no problem”. This is the sign of a truly innovative organization with the guests’ interests at heart. Everything was extraordinary; the gala dinner was a true gourmet experience, and the service teams throughout the hotel always exceptionally professional. Hotel Arts is highly recommended.
